On the Campuhan Ridge in Ubud, the residences step down the hillside into the jungle — each with its own pool and its own view of the valley.
Above them, a private club of our own: a spa, an Ayurveda floor led by a resident physician, a restaurant, a lounge, and a concierge team devoted entirely to the owners.

It began with two rivers and a sacred lake.
In the 8th century, the sage Markandeya came from Java to the place where two rivers meet, below the Campuhan Ridge. Drawn by its energy, he meditated there and founded Pura Gunung Lebah — a temple to the goddess of the lake in the caldera of Mount Batur, Bali’s sacred volcano.
He also found healing plants here, and the land took their name: ubad, medicine. So Ubud began. The Balinese still come to purify in these waters.

Campuhan Ridge
Thirteen centuries later, Ubud is still the island’s home of healing, art and ritual — and the finest retreats in Bali have chosen these same valleys.
On the ridge that rises from that confluence stands Puri Sidem. The idea is simple: not sixteen villas, but one house with sixteen residences.

Terraced into the hillside
Clean lines, deep overhangs and walls of glass. Each residence opens fully to its own terrace, pool and planted roof — private from its neighbours, open to the valley.

Rituals from three traditions
Two treatment rooms, each for single or couples sessions. Treatments draw on Balinese, Javanese and Ayurvedic traditions, using what the island provides — volcanic clay, coconut oil, frangipani, fresh turmeric, raw honey.
Every treatment can also be performed at home, in the owner’s residence.
The Ayurveda floor
Healing, by programme
A dedicated floor under a resident BAMS physician from India. Not a menu of spa add-ons — structured programmes built around each person’s constitution and goals.

The full classical sequence — preparation, purification, rejuvenation — with daily physician monitoring.

Transformation
Panchakarma with yoga therapy, breathwork, lifestyle coaching and a protocol to carry the results home.
The restaurant
Evening service is by candlelight. No music. The valley provides the sound.
Thirty seats. Local farms, our own herb garden and seasonal Balinese produce — Indonesian, pan-Asian and Mediterranean cooking without compromise on flavour.
The lounge
A private living room, not a hotel bar
Morning coffee and fresh juice, afternoon tea, evening cocktails. Arak infusions, turmeric and ginger tonics, jamu blends — made with what grows here.

Like arriving at someone’s home
The concierge team handles every detail — airport transfers, private excursions, restaurant reservations, temple ceremonies, and anything an owner needs found on the island.

One point of contact who knows your preferences and anticipates what you need.

Private transport whenever it is needed, arranged through the concierge.
08 · Ownership
Clear, long-term, simple
We manage everything ourselves: guests and lettings, marketing, maintenance, staff, accounting, tax filing and the club itself. Whether the residence is let or lived in, the owner’s involvement is none at all.

Years leasehold · extension
Foreigners cannot hold freehold title in Indonesia, so ownership is a twenty-seven-year leasehold, with a twenty-five-year extension on terms pre-agreed in the contract.
