The neighbours are the location argument
Mandapa (a Ritz-Carlton Reserve), Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan, Capella Ubud, Amandari and Viceroy Bali all sit on this same hillside above the Ayung valley.
Luxury hotel groups do extensive site selection before committing capital at that level. The fact that five of them independently chose this ridge is a stronger signal about the location than anything a developer can write about it.
Architecture built into the slope
Each residence sits on its own terrace along the hillside, so every unit keeps an open view over the valley and full privacy from its neighbours. The layout deliberately trades density for space between homes — sixteen residences on a site that could have held more.
The setting is the Ubud ridge beside the Campuhan Ridge Walk, at the confluence where, by an eighth-century account, the Javanese priest Rsi Markandeya meditated and founded a temple. Ubud takes its name from the Balinese word ubad, meaning medicine.
